you think this is for the trashcan?

you’re wrong!
years ago I bought a little pouch which had the perfect size for sunny days in the parks of my town or for strolling around a festival site. but over the years the fabric lost its colours so I did not like to take the pouch outside anymore. during my patchwork project I collected lots of small and smallest pieces of fabric – perfect basic for the patchwork pouch.

I just combined the pieces as the came until I had a rectangle of the original size (in my case it’s 40 x 13 centimetres). I had to use the iron a lot and to straighten the edges with patchwork ruler and scissor.

The bottom forms a circle and consists of a very stable fabric and a similiar sized piece of lining which I connected before putting them into place. For the lining I used the old cover of a cushion, the rectangel needs to be a little bigger than the outside rectangel because you want to hide the seams like this.

done. and obviously I decided to preserve some of my mistakes
