little time

so, I’m still alive, but got too much other stuff to do, besides I’m still struggling to copy a jacket. Meanwhile I did a little trip and crocheted some flowers. I gave all the last ones as presents and need some more…

I copied another of my favourite shirts. I had to change the pattern a lot because the old one was pretty spoiled but in the end I made it. Next one will be a little longer since I don’t care to much for showing my belly to everyone 😉

Nevermind the crinkles – it’s just hard to photograph yourself and stand straight…

mission accomplished

Travelling by train and sitting in the sun listening to lots of music meant crocheting again. And since a got a wonderful collection of mercerized yarn from my grandmother I definitely had to deplete my own collection to create space in my drawers. I gave most of the flowers away but forgot to take pictures of them.  But since crocheting these flowers is so much fun I will spent some more time with them in the sun at the nightshift 🙂

And here the back of one flower to show how I attached a safety pin so I may pin the flower easily to wardrobe, bags or curtains.

gardening

An aunt of mine amazed me with some crocheted flowers a few years ago. I never did see any other sense in it but beauty, and as we all know you can not argue about beauty and how we see it, you and me and the others, you know? And I always wondered how she did them. Thanks to the Internet I found lots of pattern and tried almost all of them. If you know any other leave me a comment. I would be pleased! 🙂

aaah, yeah, i still haven’t found out how to convince my camera to picture red. so never mind the black-white-grey pics…

Besides the flowers I found sea stars. The left one is done with thicker needle and thread. For the right one I wrote my own pattern but I think I have to improve it a little next time because I see to many holes around the centre.

This little funny guy I stumbled about too and I think I can use the pattern also for cherries what I will try next. So now writing in circles as I once learned it I will talk about my aunt again. I would like to thank her with a little basket of crotched fruits and vegetables plus the patterns. You know any? Let me know about it!
