too small, too big, next time…

Two years ago I learned juggling and still think it’s not only fun but also contemplative because of your focus on the balls. Because of the weather and some spare time I spent a day in bed and did new balls. The first is too small and has a strange peak because I didn’t add enough hooks to the second and third line. The second one is too big for my hands but perfectly shaped. But now I’m fed up with the hooks and will try the perfect ball later. The yellow ball is a bought one…

Very helpful was the advice to fill not only grains into the ball but to use some plastics to prevent the filling from coming out – additionally it was a lot easier to stuff the ball. If you crochet with different colours you don’t need to cut the threads. Just take them with you like here.
